I am a proud Native New Yorker.  My work is inspired by the mystery, excitement, insanity and vivacity of the city, especially New York Harbor and the Subways, and my mind is full of creatures and monsters.  Some of my most recognizable work is that of my cartoon-like altar ego “Jen” and my companions “The Greep”, “The Bleecker Bunnies”, and a massive cast of dragons, monsters, animals, and everything in between!

 

Another style of mine are the Holy Messenger paintings, which depict many familiar saints, angels, and other holy people from Roman and Eastern Catholicism.. 

 

I am also an Art Educator dedicated to fostering the development of our young artists of New York City through the traditional school setting as well as in cultural institutions.  My current post is in a maritime-trades high school, featuring New York Harbor as a prominent subject.
